Bio: It is said that no one ever leaves Africa no matter how far one lives from her shores. The smell of rain hitting orange soil and golden pink sunsets painted as the sun hits dust particles and smoke raised by everyday life. Being born in another time and place, Angola, during her colonial past, does not separate me from her peoples’ present reality. Poverty, disparity, poor infrastructure and the memory of civil was does not dampen our love for each other and our land. I am an African; an Angolan.
